Cool. This is good news for me... I just bought an ATI All In Wonder 9700 (which is supposed to be great with DX9). I'm spoiled when it comes to computers, so I always have to have the latest and greatest. My GF4 ti4600 is getting moved to my second computer. What's really funny is that I'll still buy nVidia's new card when it comes out early next year... *sigh*

Anyway, back to the news at hand! If you've been in the dark, DX9 is supposed to be a huge advancement in graphics. We probably won't see many games using the functionality right away, but any game in development right now should be planning to use DX9 functionality.
